First Central Europe Fuddruckers Opens In Poland

TEXAS-BASED FUDDRUCKERS OPENS ITS FIRST RESTAURANT IN CENTRAL EUROPE; FAST CASUAL EATERY ANCHORS NEW FOOD COURT AT WOLA PARK CENTER IN WARSAW, POLAND

 

WARSAW, POLAND – June 24, 2015 – Fuddruckers, a Texas-born heritage brand, debuted its first restaurant in Central Europe on June 20 through a partnership with Italian-based franchisee Vinum et Alia.  Located in Warsaw, Poland’s Wola District, the fast casual eatery is an anchor of bustling Wola Park Shopping Center’s new food court, which was unveiled earlier this month.  The site is one of ten planned with Vinum et Alia.  Two have recently opened in Italy, and Switzerland is a proposed target.

The Wola Park restaurant is the first Fuddruckers to serve an American-style pizza with five options that range from the U.S.A. EL PASO, TX – October 07, 2014 – Luby’s, Inc. is reopening a former Fuddruckers franchise location in El Paso, TX under company ownership.  The 7,500-square-foot fast casual restaurant at 5030 North Desert Boulevard, which has been closed since January 2014, will be unveiled on Tuesday, October 14, debuting a number of décor, system and service enhancements that align it with the company’s newest venues.  A portion of opening day sales will benefit the local chapter of March of Dimes.

 

The reveal of the site also signals the return of elements that differentiate this Fuddruckers from typical sites.  The 230-seat space features a private party room and dedicated bar featuring a selection of beer and wine.  A landscaped terrace provides outdoor seating for 44.  Additionally, the restaurant will offer a full appetizer menu with items ranging from coconut shrimp and buffalo wings to quesadillas and sliders.
