FUDDRUCKERS DEBUTS IN DELAWARE; NEW HOME FOR THE ‘WORLD’S GREATEST HAMBURGERS’ AND PREMIUM FAST CASUAL FARE OFFERS PRIME NEWARK LOCATION
Newark, DE – December 11, 2014 – A 6,430-square-foot Fuddruckers fast casual restaurant opens in Newark, Delaware today. Luby’s, Inc. operates the site, which is located at 40 Geoffrey Drive, just off Churchmans Road and in close proximity to Center Pointe Plaza and Delaware Technical Community College. The newly remodeled restaurant is the first Fuddruckers in the state.
According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer of Luby’s, Inc., “We are thrilled to introduce Fuddruckers to Delaware and believe that the family-oriented demographics of Newark make it a perfect place for this delicious brand. We are introducing a fun and friendly gathering place in keeping with the needs of the community.”
A dynamic design scheme, which references Fuddruckers’ classic, Americana origins, sets an inviting backdrop for a family gathering, work lunch or date night. The interior accommodates 194 guests, and there is seating available for 40 on a covered patio. An existing bar was removed to expand the dining area.
