Fuddruckers Reenters New York with Location in Middletown

FUDDRUCKERS REENTERS NEW YORK STATE WITH RESTAURANT IN MIDDLETOWN; TEXAS-BORN CHAIN KNOWN FOR GRILLED-TO-ORDER BURGERS, VINTAGE ROADHOUSE FEEL

MIDDLETOWN, NY – April 10, 2014 – Since its founding in 1980, Fuddruckers has been obsessed with making the world happier, one great hamburger at a time. The award-winning, Texas-born fast casual chain introduces its first company-operated New York State site today at 340 Route 211 East in Middletown, which is located in the Hudson Valley approximately 60 miles from Manhattan. The 6,600-square-foot, 170-seat restaurant replaces a former Cheeseburger in Paradise, a sister brand to Fuddruckers. Both are operated by Houston-based Luby’s, Inc.

In preparation for the opening, numerous updates and upgrades were made to the venue. The restaurant now serves as showcase for Fuddruckers’ dynamic, new interior scheme. While paying homage to the chain’s signature, roadhouse look, the design caters to today’s sophisticated tastes, and the playful ambiance creates an inviting backdrop for a family gathering, business lunch or date night.

The restaurant also features a full-service bar. The dedicated area with seating for 29 features an extensive beer selection, as well as wine, cocktails and specialty drinks, including a variety of margaritas, mojitos, pina coladas and sangrias.

According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer of Luby’s, Inc., “We are committed to Middletown and excited to introduce Fuddruckers hot and juicy burgers to the community. We feel that the family-oriented dynamics of the area make the brand a perfect fit and see the restaurant becoming a popular gathering place for residents of all ages.”

Fuddruckers’ grilled-to-order burgers feature always fresh and never frozen, 100% USDA premium-cut beef with no fillers or additives. Delicious, sesame-topped buns are baked from scratch on-site throughout the day to achieve the perfect combination of crisp crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

And while burgers are the signature, the engaging menu offers variety for many tastes with an array of sandwiches, platters and salads. No matter what they choose, customers can customize their meal with a trip to the legendary Build Your Own produce bar, which features fantastic fixings like sun-ripened tomatoes, lettuce, sliced onions, dill pickles and classic cheese sauce.
